Terms of Service

Version 2.0. Last updated: 26 August 2026. Applies to Reqzi Go.

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Reqzi Limited(“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16858392, at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. They govern your use of the Reqzi Go apps and website. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use Reqzi Go on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and these terms bind it.

Some sections apply only to consumers (someone acting wholly or mainly outside a business) and some only to business users. Each says which. Nothing here takes away statutory rights a consumer has under English law.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 to use Reqzi Go. Keep your sign-in details secure and the information on your account accurate. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Workspace owners control who joins their workspace and what role each member holds.

3. Subscriptions, prices and billing

Paid plans are bought on the Reqzi Go website and billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. They renew automatically until cancelled. There are no in-app purchases: the iOS and Android apps do not sell anything, and nothing is charged through the App Store or Google Play.

You can cancel at any time in the app under Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and it is not pro-rated for the unused part of that period unless the law says otherwise. If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel first. We tell you the date before the trial starts.

Consumers: your 14-day cancellation right

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from the day you subscribe to cancel for any reason and get a refund, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Email hello@reqzi.com with a clear statement that you are cancelling, or cancel in the app and tell us you want a refund. We refund within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method.

Because the service starts as soon as you subscribe, and by subscribing you ask us to start it, we may keep a proportionate amount for the days you had access before cancelling. This right does not apply to business users.

4. Rent payments

Reqzi Go lets tenants pay rent to their landlord or agent by card or Bacs Direct Debit. Payments are processed by Stripe. We are not a bank, a payment institution, a letting agent, a deposit scheme or a party to any tenancy agreement. The tenancy relationship, including deposits, arrears and disputes, remains between landlord and tenant. We provide records of payments made through the service.

Landlords and agents

  • Stripe account. To receive rent you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. That agreement is between you and Stripe and governs payouts, identity verification and the funds themselves. Stripe may hold, delay or reverse a payout under it, and we cannot override that.
  • Our fee. We deduct a platform fee from each rent payment before it reaches you. The rate for each payment method is shown in the app before you turn on rent collection, and every payment records the fee that was charged. Stripe’s own processing fees are separate and set by Stripe.
  • Tenants are never surcharged. The tenant always pays the rent amount, in full. Fees come out of your side of the payment, never theirs.
  • Chargebacks and disputes. If a tenant disputes a card payment or reclaims a Direct Debit, the money is taken back from the platform and we recover it from you, including any fee Stripe charges for the dispute. You are responsible for evidence and for the underlying rent claim.

Tenants

  • Direct Debit. Setting up Bacs Direct Debit creates a mandate with your bank, shown to you by Stripe together with the Direct Debit Guarantee, which protects you if a payment is taken in error. Bacs payments take several working days to clear and can fail after they appear to have been made.
  • Paying rent is between you and your landlord. Using Reqzi Go does not change what you owe, when it is due, or your tenancy agreement. If a payment fails, the rent is still owed.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel a Direct Debit mandate at any time through your bank or in the app. Doing so does not cancel the rent obligation.

5. Acceptable use and community content

Use Reqzi Go only for lawful property management. Do not upload content you have no right to share, attempt to access other workspaces, probe or disrupt the service, scrape it, or use it to harass others. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Messages, house chat and the resident community are private to one workspace: a landlord or agent and their own tenants. There is no public feed. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not post anything unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit or discriminatory, and do not impersonate anyone or post another person’s private information.

Every message and giveaway post a resident authors can be reported from inside the app (announcements and events are posted only by the landlord or agent), and residents can block one another, which hides the blocked person’s messages and posts straight away. Reports notify the landlord or agent who runs the workspace and are copied to Reqzi, and you can also email hello@reqzi.com. We aim to review reported content within 24 hours; content that breaks these rules is removed and the account of anyone who posts it can be suspended.

6. Your content

You own the content you add to Reqzi Go. You grant us the licence needed to host, process and display it in order to run the service. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you add, including photos and documents relating to tenants and properties. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. Data protection

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Where you use Reqzi Go to manage tenancies, you are the controller of the tenancy records you create and we are your processor. Our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms and sets out the Article 28 terms that apply to that processing. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the tenant data you put into the service and for telling tenants how you use it.

8. AI assistant

The AI assistant summarises and answers questions using your own portfolio data. Its answers are for information only and can be wrong or incomplete. It is not legal, tax or financial advice. Check important information before acting on it. Fair use limits apply so one workspace cannot exhaust the service for everyone.

9. Compliance reminders

Compliance features help you track deadlines such as gas safety, electrical and energy certificates. They are an aid, not a guarantee, and dates you enter drive them. Legal responsibility for meeting landlord obligations stays with the landlord or agent.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Reqzi Go available and secure, but the service is provided as is and we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features over time, and we will not materially reduce the core service you have paid for during a period you have already paid for. Planned maintenance is announced in the app where it is likely to affect you.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects a consumer’s statutory rights, including the right to a service carried out with reasonable care and skill under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit, loss of rent or loss of business.

We are not liable for the acts of a landlord, agent or tenant, for the condition of a property, or for any tenancy dispute. Those are between the people in the tenancy.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using Reqzi Go and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. Export your data first if you want a copy: Settings offers a full export, and deletion is final once the grace period in the Privacy Policy ends. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as liability and your statutory rights, survive closure.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing to use Reqzi Go after that date means you accept them. If you do not, you can cancel and we will refund any unused paid period.

14. Complaints

Email hello@reqzi.com with what happened and what you would like us to do. We acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and aim to resolve them within 10 working days, telling you if it will take longer.

15. Apps from the App Store and Google Play

These terms are between you and Reqzi Limited only, not Apple or Google, and we alone are responsible for the Reqzi Go apps and their content. The following applies to the iOS app, as Apple’s terms require:

  • Your licence is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded product you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Support comes from us, at our support page.
  • If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund any purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform are our responsibility.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim about the app, including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims, and for investigating and settling any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
  • You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
